The October 7 Massacre and Sexual Violence: The “Dinah Project”
A UK-funded report:
The upcoming "Dinah Project" report—named after Dinah, the daughter of Jacob and Leah who was raped (Genesis 34)—addresses the widespread sexual violence and assault against women and men during the October 7 massacre. This new form of weaponized sexual torture occurred at the Nova Music Festival and was witnessed and experienced by the returning hostages.
Why is this report necessary? It compiles testimonies, forensic evidence, and reveals a “pattern of evidence” considering the pervasive silence and/or skepticism from the media. Add to this, pro-Palestinian websites refute these findings and testimonies, alleging Israel uses sexual savagery as well.
This is more than a propaganda war. The truth does matter. Accountability does matter.
It's important to note that a published March 11, 2024, United Nations report acknowledged this serious problem. However, worldwide attention has been generally muted in the face of uninformed pro-Palestinian (pro-Hamas) support. (9572nd Meeting SC/15621)
Mainline Protestants must recognize that the October 7 massacre is not about occupation: it’s about annihilating Israel and extinguishing its existence. If there is any doubt about this, refer to the Hamas Charter, published on October 20, 2023, (13 days after the October 7, 2023 massacre) where the killing of Jews (now referred to as Zionists) and the erasure of the State of Israel is spelled out.
Hamas is a willing proxy for Iran, sharing the same aim and receiving military support from them.
Article 28:
Arab countries surrounding Israel are asked to open their borders before the fighters from among the Arab and Islamic nations so that they could consolidate their efforts with those of their Muslim brethren in Palestine. As for the other Arab and Islamic countries, they are asked to facilitate the movement of the fighters from and to it, and this is the least thing they could do.
This reality is crucial for grasping the motivations behind the brutal and barbaric massacre and sexual violence on October 7, as well as for understanding the necessity of supporting Israel.
May the people of Israel thrive.
